Havana Nights – Cuba Libre

If you want to visit a country where time stood still, visit Cuba.

One of the most beautiful countries I’ve visited not only for its historic landmarks but for the kind people and lively culture.

TRANSPORTATION

The cars are one of my favorite parts about Cuba, they are so cool!

Practical? Not at all. But very cute. They break down every couple hours, which gave us many opportunities for photo opps with them. They also omit a crazy amount of smog into the air which makes the city extremely polluted.

FOOD

What you’ll eat? Beans and Rice. And its really good. They also have amazing croquettes that we pretty much ate everyday. Their vegetables are sparse, when you order a side of veggies at a restaurant they give you basically canned green beans as seen in the photo below. Also stick to wine over water. Their bottled water tasted weird. And definitely don’t go for the ice.
