Can’t believe I just wrapped up my SECOND fashion week, someone pinch me. Although I’ve been working in fashion for over 5 years now, it still blows my mind when I get to have these incredible opportunities where I’m invited as a guest alongside some of Fashion’s biggest names. I started as a personal assistant back in the day and if someone told me I’d be sitting front row for shows rather than getting lunch orders wrong I would never believe them!
As my second year at #NYFW I feel like my biggest takeaway for success was QUALITY over quantity.
Business Perspective:
This year I really wanted to focus on brands that mattered to me and instead of going to everything or being upset I missed something, I went to a lot less shows and just picked what was important to me and why. I took more meetings because I wanted face time with the pr agencies I email with all year but don’t have the chance to meet and went to bigger named shows because I felt they resonated with my style more. Of course I still went to names I had never heard of, but my focus was on aligning brands that matched my aesthetic.
Fashion Week Looks:
I did everything from neutrals to suiting to colors. Comment and tell me which look you liked best!

Location:
Thanks to my veteran blogger friends who have been doing fashion week much longer than me, I had A LOT better insight on where to stay. Arlo Soho Hotel is conveniently located just a couple blocks from the shows so it made outfit changes and overall efficiency soo much better.

Favorite Shows:
Prabal Gurung – His shows are always so meaningful in their messaging and model diversity and the set design from beginning to end is STUNNING.
Bevza- The way these clothes drape are so feminine, sexy and chic.
Sandy Liang – I love how she can make street style elevated.
Featured in : Teen Vogue , and Vogue Paris
Fashion week for me is chaotic, inspiring, and overall such an amazing experience each time. I can’t wait for Paris next year.
